The surfer here was photographed during a competition at the Banzai Pipeline along the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. We were there in February, when the waves were higher and the surfers were out competing.
The Banzai Pipeline, or simply Pipeline or Pipe, is a surf reef break located in Hawaii, off Ehukai Beach Park in Pupukea on O'ahu's North Shore.
The color of part of the waves were originally green but I highlighted and saturated the green. The blue in the original photo was darkened to create a black effect and a more dramatic effect. I hope you enjoy this treatment.
