Description
Hosta Glade
The MacMillan Hosta Glade is one of the finest public displays of hosta in the upper Midwest. There are over 300 varieties of hosta displayed. It includes sections which have hosta with blue colored leaves, fragrant flowers and miniatures and species, along with beds of classic hosta and a landscape bed of hosta mixed with other perennials. In 1980 the American Hosta Society designated the Hosta Glade as its first national display garden. It is also one of the coolest places at the Arboretum on a hot summer day!

This caught my eye. Excellent dof work, nice contrast. I have a huge hosta outside my front door and I keep visiting it, trying to get the image out of it that I think I see. So far I have not. This may have been what I was looking for. Next year. Another fine phone case. Don't you find it interesting that some part of your image crops well after all the thought that went into getting all that detail in the frame? Should we start shooting for these cases, with only the center detail being important?
Lucinda Walter replied:
Hi Glenn, Thanks much for your wonderful comments. Love Hostas but had to go to MN to capture this one :) as they don't grow here on the desert floor - to much heat & sun. ;) I much confess I did a mass add phone cases to pixel. I've never sold one on other sites so I'm not really looking to sell on Pixel but wanted that option. I will go to Pixel & revisit what works for phone cases. Thanks for your thoughts here but the bottom line for me is I'm not shooting for these cases. Thanks again!
