Description
Photographed as the sun rises on Mittens in Monument Valley, Arizona. Monument Valley Park is maintained by the Navajo Nation. I was staying at The View hotel to catch this early morning beauty. This was taken as the sun was above the horizon and a few minutes after "Mittens at Sunrise" and I was able to catch the sun rays on the right Mittens.

I regret that my husband and I haven't made it out to Monument Valley, something always seems to interfere. At least we can enjoy it through such spectacular images as this.
