Charron is one of the oldest vineyards in southern Arizona. The soil, lay of the land and an altitude of 4200 feet with warm days and cool nights makes it a perfect vineyard location. Arizona is becoming known for its wines. Only 30 minutes from downtown Tucson, Charron Vineyards is one of southern Arizona's oldest vineyards. At 4200 feet the vines enjoy warm summer days and cool nights, the perfect growing conditions for our grapes. In spring 1994 the first Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines were planted with the first wines becoming commercially available in 1999. In 2000 the White Merlot won the Governor's Choice Award and has sold out every year since. Today the vineyard has four acres of mature vines and another five acres available for future growth. As well as the signature White Merlot, Charron Vineyards currently produces a traditional red Merlot, Syrah and a Blanc De Noir. Featuring wine tasting on the deck with spectacular views of the Santa Rita Mountains. I took this photo in one of the many vineyards in Sonita and Elgin, Arizona. Situated in the mile-high rolling grasslands of Southeastern Arizona, surrounded by the Huachuca, Whetstone, and Santa Rita Mountains, is a virtually undiscovered wine-growing region with soil so rich, it rivals that of Burgundy, France. The rows of vineyards that produce award winning red, white, and blush wines interrupt the oak glades and yucca patches native to the area, creating breathtaking views that make this a one-of-a kind wine tasting experience.

I love to take photos! Pure & simple. I like capturing moments in everyday life, landscapes, cityscapes, nature and people. I love to follow the Light!
'Sometimes I do get to places just when God's ready to have somebody click the shutter.' - Ansel Adams.
A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words. Ansel Adams
As an avid follower of Ansel Adams, his quotes describes my approach to capturing light the essence of all great photographs and my personal philosophy. I actively pursue a wide range of images where shadow, light and composition unite to create powerful emotions. Whether Im here in Green Valley or in far away places, I'm immersed in an environment where God is constantly providing subjects that are just a click away. I translate my vision by listening, observing and following the Light! With the inspiration of the Sonoran Desert, and the techniques studied from other photographers, I have everything I need to pursue my passion.
*Come. With me. See my world Make it YOURS!*
"A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed. Ansel Adams
Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution.' Ansel Adams
