This Mandarin Duck was sitting on a tree enjoying the sunshine. He seemed to have his little chest pumped out.... ;) This was my first time seeing a Mandarin Duck and I was surprised to see how colorful they were. They were small in size compared to the Mallard ducks and other waterfowl. There were a couple of Mandarin Ducks there and I really enjoyed watching them interact with the other waterfowl birds and a few taking a break and enjoying the warmth of the sun. This bird was photographed at the World Wildlife Zoo in Litchfield, Arizona. I had a chance to try out more of my new camera - Fuji X-T2 there and it was a wonderful experience.

Such a very showy creature - like something colored by a child who is delighted with a brand new box of crayons and wants to try them all out :)
