Description
Library of Celsus at Ephesus. We were blessed to be there very early before the crowds came. The last time we were there in 2009 there were people all over the steps and the ground before the building. We were told that only about 3 cruise ships visit the port to Ephesus, Kusadasi, Turkey today. This building is the pride and join of the remains at Ephesus. It was built in honor of the Roman Senator Tiberius Julius Celsus Polemaeanus.
