Contemplation by Lucinda Walter
Visiting Taos, New Mexico and this amazing church was something I wanted to do for a long time. This is one of my favorite photographs from that wonderful trip. I love the angle here capturing the three crosses and the symbolism of what the three Crosses represent for the Christians and their faith.

Marble statue of St Francis in front of the San Francisco de Asis Church in Rancho de Taos in Taos, NM.San Francisco de Asis Mission Church, c. 1772, is one of the best known and most photographed churches in New Mexico. The Spanish Colonial adobe building has twin bell towers and an arched portal entrance that overlooks an enclosed courtyard.
