Located inside the Navajo Nation one of the largest Native American tribes in the United States Monument Valley is around four hours northeast of Flagstaff, near the Four Corners area. Monument Valley has very dry or desert like conditions (xerophytic).

E�en though it be a cross that raiseth me,
Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down,
